Worker Seagull – FPS Numbers

Below you will find the FPS results with 2 different dart types, Worker HE darts – 1.0 gram and Worker Bamboo HE darts – 1.0 gram.

Each setup is tested with at least 20 shots over the chronograph to give you the best performance indication possible.
From each setup we report the highest, lowest and average, as well as the standard deviation.
The standard deviation is an important metric as it shows the consistency between shots, which is important for accuracy.

Please keep in mind this overview is meant as an indication. Dart quality, blaster seals, lubrication, climate and other factors have an effect on performance.

  1. Is there a reason why you did not do the 1.6 x 250 spring with a scar barrel?

    1. We decided to skip the SCAR testing, as it’s just a lot of work to do so much tests. You can see differences in FPS with/without the SCAR from the different spring tests – and get an estimate on the FPS difference from there. Ultimately everyone will use their favourite SCAR/BCAR, and get different numbers.

    1. The 1.6 x 250 spring is an upgrade spring from the Harrier. Higher springloads would be very hard to prime. Longer barrels don’t make much sense in a compact blaster, and the plunger volume.

      1. the 370mm barrel also reduces fps in most cases, so the 310mm barrel seems to be the best option. maybe something between 310 and 370 might be the “optimal” length for the 1.6×250 spring (although I think that the 230 fps it hits with the 310mm barrel are more than enough for any situation).
